I haven't had a lot of time to paint my nails lately with a newborn, but I have a ton of ideas that I have pinned on Pinterest that I am excited to accomplish, I just have to get back to it! Here are the ones that I am most excited about:

Before we begin I just want to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my baby girl, who is two today! Look for a special post about her this evening, but first I bring you....

So, I actually did my nails this past Friday because I had been wearing my favorite color, Plum Luck by Sally Hansen, but it chipped pretty badly before I got any good pictures of it. This is what I have been wearing since then:

It was actually inspired by a friend of mine who got her nails done at a salon in an OPI shade that is very close to this. Only difference that I can see is that hers had a good bit of glitter where as Raisin the Bar has more of a metallic feel to the polish. It almost looks like the Essie bronze/penny color.

Today, in honor of my son who will (hopefully) be born in the next 24 hours or so, I decided to celebrate with a fun, bright blue! When Natalie was born I was wearing a fabulous peachy pink so I thought I would keep with the "tradition." Other than not knowing that it was a matte nail polish when I bought it, the color is great! I just added Seche Vite on top and it made it nice and shiny! I love it, and can't wait to bring Cameron into the world wearing it!

This weeks nail colors was kind of an impulse. I had some new colors in my bag and I kinda just dug around in there until I found something that I was in the mood for. Turns out I was in the mood for a plummy red/purple color with a sparkly accent.

I really love how it turned out. And it's a good thing I took pictures of it after it was done, because about five minutes later I had to change Natalie out of her soda-covered shirt and messed them up. Not bad enough to re-do them, but bad enough that the perfectionist in me is a very unhappy camper! lol Oh well, such is motherhood!

Last week I posted a photo that included a fantastic coral color that I fell in love with a few weeks ago. Well I had a wedding to go to this weekend, and bought a coral colored dress just so I could paint my nails this fabulous color! When I was deciding what to wear jewelry-wise I wanted to accent with some turquoise. So, I went to pinterest, and found this:

 

 

 So I decided to go for it! Here are the colors I used:

I also spend some time with my Mama on Saturday and she gave me a pedicure complete with foot rub and all! I was actually pretty upset the last time I went to get a pedicure because they refused to rub my feet! They said that I could go into preterm labor, so they can't rub. I couldn't believe it! So, the foot rub from my Mom was a blessing, felt amazing afterwards, and LOOK! No preterm labor!! GRRR on you nail salon!!

She also painted my toes with Kook-a-mango. I must say it looks amazing as a pedicure color! I love it =)

I also tried Seche Vite this time for the first time and I am in LOVE! It dries SO fast!! I usually just run my nails under cold water to dry/set them for 30 seconds each, but this stuff I didn't need to at all! Of course, I was nervous so I still babied them for about an hour afterward, but next time I'm going to give it a real test! It may be my new favorite top coat!!

Next week I am debating about either the blue combo I previously talked about, or a hot Barbie pink! Everyone is doing it for summer, and it's making me want to join in! What do you think?

Here's how it turned out!

It is such a gorgeous color red, I am happy to rock this all week long!

Coming up on the blog, I have two new colors that I bought yesterday that I am going to be featuring! I've been looking for both of these colors for a while now, and I can't wait to try them!

Kook-a-Mango is a really pretty coral that will match the dress I am wearing to my cousin's wedding PERFECTLY, so that will be next week. The following week I will be pairing Mermaid's Tale with this color:

Calypso Blue! I can't wait to give it a try!!

Last week I promised that I would paint my nails the blue color that my Instagrammies picked out! So without further ado, here is the polish:

 

 It's such a pretty metallic color! I had originally wanted to add some nail art to my ring fingers, but after seeing the gorgeous-ness of the color, I decided it was too pretty to be covered in any way!
