Natalie: Six months old!

Dear Natalie,

Two days ago you turned six months old! Momma can't believe a half of a year has gone by already! You are amazing, and continue to learn new things every day!

No wellness appointment for you this month! Your next appointment isn't until February 29th.

1 mo: 5 lbs 13 oz
2 mo: 8 lbs 3.5 oz
3 mo: 10 lbs
4 mo: 14 lbs!! (I think I was a little off on this with the home scale - more like around 13 lbs)
5 mo: 12 lbs 13 oz
6 mo: 14 lbs 4 oz

2 mo: 20 1/2 in
3 mo: 21 in
4 mo: 22 1/2 in
5 mo: 24 1/2 in
6 mo: 24 1/2 in

You are still drinking 3-4 8 oz bottles a day. We bought you some fast flow nipples, and you do ok with them when you are really hungry, but other than that you're not quite ready for them yet. We are going to try and find you some medium flow nipples.

We also started you on solid foods! So far you have had sweet potatoes and apples, and you gobbled both down like it was your JOB! I am so proud of you!

 
We had a little bit of some sleep problems this month. You went one night where you woke up four times and I had to go into your room and re-adjust you! But we will talk about that later. Other than that you are still doing great about sleeping through the night!

You are starting to grow out of your 3 mo clothes! Momma is so excited about you growing! Everything still fits you so far, you're just starting to have some things that are a tiny big snug.

Your baby acne is still here with a vengance! I think it's partly because of eating and partly because of teething! I don't see any little white spots on your gums yet, but I have a feeling they will be here sooner rather than later!

You've accomplished a few more milestones this month! You've offically learned to roll from your back to your belly! The only thing is, is once you get there, you forget how to roll back, and can't quite get your arms under you just yet.

You've also found your feet! About two weeks ago we noticed you starting to grab at your pants, and now I worry that you're going to start taking your socks off and start chewing on your toesies!

You are starting to do a really good job at sitting up on your own! We bought you a handy little seat called a Bumbo and you love it!

We had such a good time at Christmas! You were the center of attention like always, and you loved everyone! They love you too =)

We took a trip up to Pap Pap and Nana's house, and they have an exersaucer up there that you love! You sat in it for a record 50 minutes before getting tired of it! You really loved that thing! You can't wait to go up there again and play!

Up next is your very first Valentine's Day! Mommy can't wait!
