A little bit of Halloween...

It ended up being too cold to take Natalie trick-or-treating yesterday, but that's ok because I think I would've felt awkward walking up to people's doors asking for candy for a three month old baby. And I think her costume will fit her next year, since she's small anyway, and the costume was huge on her! I seriously had to roll the pants up five times, it was crazy! Here are a few pictures.

We stopped at her godmother, Jess's house, and her mom got to hold Natalie for the first time, and they gave us a cute little My first Halloween sleeper, which she totally wore to bed last night and all day today! It is SO cute, and I'm sad she'll only get to wear it once. I'm thinking about maybe making a quilt and putting a few squares of fabric from my favorite onsies she wore in her first year in it. Because I know if I have another girl, I will still want new stuff for her! I may use SOME things over again, but hopefully (also) I won't have another preemie and won't need the smaller things next time around!

Weekend Planning Recap

All I have to say is this: Plans change - ALOT - when you have a baby, depending on weather, how the baby feels, how YOU feel....it just changes. And you have to deal with it. Here's how my weekend turned out.

Natalie's godmother, (and my high school BFF), Jess is coming over to hang out and watch her for me  Hubby ended up coming home early because of the SNOW??? What the what??
Work at 4:00 I did manage to go to work that day LOL

Possibly a little bit of football while at work - didn't get to watch much at home

Monday (HALLOWEEN!):

Cleaning (Happy House Challenge Week 2 - the dining area) and remains of Week 1 this will be Tuesday, I'm focusing on my Pinterest Project today
Trick or Treating with Natalie, Hubby and Jess it's too cold so we're just going to dress her up and take her out to dinner =)

Somewhere in there I'd love to:

Eat some good food well we're going to Chili's tonight so YAY!
Find some time to start re-reading Breaking Dawn in prep for the movie!!! Do believe I will break out that book tonight =)

Meal Plan for the week: (Last night was switched for tonight, so I cooked Chicken Fried Rice)

Halloween Planning

So, I totally think that my daughter is too young to go trick-or-treating, and we don't really have a Halloween party to go to (because we are lame lol) but I really want to get the munchkin a costume!

This is where I need your help! I can't decide between four costumes. I will tell you which ones are my favorite and which ones are Hubby's, and which ones we don't necessarily care for:

1. The cupcake

Mike doesn't really care for this one, and I am in love with it. It comes with pants and a long sleeve top so I know she will be warm.

2. The "lovebug"

This is the one that we decided on in the store, but I'm not really sold on it. The 0-6 mo size is kinda bulky and Natalie is small so I'm worried it's going to swallow her.

3. The monkey

Hubby really likes this one, he thinks it's funny because sometimes we call Natalie "scrunchy monkey". I'm not against this one.

4. The strawberry

I love, love, LOVE this! But when Hubby saw it in the store, he just kept walking away.
