Weekend Planning & My Husband Rocks

So I wanted to start off by saying that I am excited to announce that I am going to be re-naming My Husband Rocks Fridays, creating a new button, and it is going to now be a weekly linky party!

I've been thinking lately, the blog that MHR Friday's originated from doesn't really post alot anymore, and it's kinda unfair to call it MHR Fridays because, well, not ALL of us are married! Some of us have boyfriends, girlfriends, or fiancees, and so I was thinking about a Saturday link-up called Significant Other Saturdays!

This way, we can keep it broad, it covers everyone and anyone, and maybe then we can even do themed posts each week, so that we don't just have to write about the same thing over and over again!

Even if you don't have a significant other, feel free to link up and tell us about what you are looking for in a significant other, or comment on the topic of the week!
I will be partnering up with Ida from Eternity Kind of Love, and the only thing we ask is that if you want to link up, that you follow both of our blogs via GFC or some other way, post a comment letting us know how you're following us so that we can follow you back, and then post away!

I always feel like Wednesdays are my Sundays because I always have to work the following three days in a row, while everyone is enjoying the end of their work-week and the start of their weekend. Hey there! I've been so busy catching up with posts! I hope I'm not overloading you all! I meant to finish up this post while it was still Thursday, but Friday morning will have to do! Wow, I have been on a blogging strike lately. I've wanted to blog, but just haven't found the time or motivation to lately.

Christmas is on it's way, and I'm ALMOST done decorating. I'm linking up with Molly @ My Happy House to tell you how I'm going to get it done this weekend!

Friday:

Find Christmas dishes (I hope they didn't get accidentally thrown away!)
Finish decorating the Christmas tree (May get done Saturday instead, but I'm shooting for tomorrow)

Finish cleaning the kitchen and get it back to normal

Saturday:

Go through my stuffed animals and condense to 1/4-1/2 of original lot (I have THREE BOXES FULL!)
Decorate outside on front porch

Play with Natalie a little before she goes to her Nan's for all of Sunday (WAHHHHH!)

MAYBE....go see Breaking Dawn after work =D (again for me, first for Hubby)

Redskins vs Jets! Game starts at 1 and we are going down a little early to walk around and take in the tailgating sights.

MAYBE Christmas pictures? Need to get a strand of white lights (the icicle kind) for this

Today I will be having my mini photo-shoot with Natalie so that I can finally post her four month update, which is now a two days overdue.

I will also be finishing up cleaning the kitchen, now that the grossness has stopped and I won't be cleaning for nothing. I need to scrub the windowsill, windows, cabinet doors, reorganize the lower cabinets, clean the stove, crush cans, deep clean the floors (scrub brush and pine sol), and do the dishes and baby bottles.

I'd like to say I really am going to get this done, but I probably won't...I'll probably end up being lazy with Natalie all day - GOD, I love spending time with her!

So, this weekend is going to be a slow one for me. I have been really tired lately, and I just don't feel like I am going to be very motivated to get anything except day to day things done.

On a side note, I am super excited about the Express Happy House Cleaning Challenge! I hope that I can keep up and everything starts to become a habit around this house, so that it stays a little cleaner and I can get this house ready for the holidays!

I just can't seem to find the time to post when I want to, and the only thing that is keeping me accountable to posting at LEAST twice a week, is this weekend planning post. Also, I wanted to share a photo and yell out a BIG HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my loving, wonderful husband who turned 27 this past Wednesday!! Happy birthday babe!

Ugh! I don't want to leave Natalie for almost an ENTIRE 24 hours, but that's the only way we can go to the Nascar race we were invited to. I know she will be perfectly fine because she's the BEST BABY in the whole wide WORLD, but I still don't know how I'm going to be away from her for that long! On the plus side, an ENTIRE night of uninterrupted sleep is JUST what the doctor ordered!

Hello there! After cleaning so much on Wednesday, and working tonight (although TECHNICALLY now it's "last night") I am already exhausted. I still have to work Friday and Saturday night, and I don't know how I'm going to do it!

Anyway, here are my plans -

Friday:

Clip leftover coupons from paper last weekend and organize
Wash Natalie's laundry
Finish our laundry (one load needing to be fluffed and one load to be washed/dried)
Maybe finally get to work on finishing our household binder
Dad and Lisa coming over at some point to give Natalie some new outfits
Shower
Work at 5 pm

Saturday:

Try to relax
Sweep and mop Natalie's bedroom floor
Pioneer Woman at 10:30 am
Work at 4 pm closing (won't get off work until about 12:30)

Sunday:

Family "picnic" get-together @ Pangborne Park (LOVE this tradition and can't wait to take Natalie!)

My Husband Rocks and Weekend Planning

First things first - my husband ROCKS.

The reason I have this week actually happened tonight while I was working. And it has to do with our daughter. We had noticed that she hadn't been feeling too good this week, and today she was super fussy, and let me tell you that is COMPLETELY unusual for my baby. Buffalo Wild Wings during a WVU game? Slept right through it. Bowling alley during 99 cent game night? Slept RIGHT through it. She is just like her Mama (if I do say so myself!) she can sleep through almost ANYTHING, even thunderstorms. So, we knew that something was wrong, but I had to be at work. Hubby called me at work to let me know he was taking her in to the doctors because her belly button is sticking out and he was worried that this was another symptom for something that might be serious.

Yep. My hubby called everyone he knew, to try and get a ride to take our daughter to be looked at. Because he ROCKS.

Turns out, she has an umbilical hernia, which is fairly common, especially in preemies. He said it was nothing to worry about, just to try and limit her stress by catching her quickly when she cries and soothing her when she's trying to push out air or poo. It should go away on it's own, but if it's still there when she turns five (JEEZ I don't want to think about that yet!) she will have to have surgery to correct it. So, hopefully it will go away on it's own.

Now on to our first football weekend planning: SO EXCITED!

Friday: (already happened but I'll tell you what I did today)

~ Lunch with my best friend from high school
~ Work on address book
~ Work

Saturday:

~ All store meeting for work at noon till two pm
~ Baby bathtime!
~ Work on family binder and address book
~ Work at 4 pm

Sunday:

~ Dropping Natalie off at her great-grandmother's and going to the COWBOYS/JETS GAME!! I am so super excited about this!

(And since we are both going to be off on Monday...)

Monday:

~ Pick up Natalie from her great-grandmother
~ Drive to Frederick to trade in our car (and hopefully come home with a new one!)
~ Relax and enjoy our time together as a family!
