Waist Watcher Wednesday: Week 10

This is a weekly link party for everyone wanting to get back in shape, where we can post/comment our stats and offer each other helpful advice, workout ideas, what works for you, what doesn't and just generally support each other so that when we think about giving up we will have bloggy friends to lift us up again!

So, I will post one inspirational thing, a workout that I want to try, or something workout related every week, and I encourage you to do the same! Let's inspire each other into getting healthy this year and making our waists disappear!

**********************************************************************

First I want to say thank you for everyone who gave me well wishes for my husband. He is doing better, still no answers but that's ok.

And with that being said....

I did it!! I did it!!

My best friend and I signed up for the gym on Monday, and I completed my first day of the C25K program....again. LOL

Here are my stats:

Distance: 1.66
Time: 26:07
Approximate Calories Burned: 466

I feel....SO GOOD. I mean, I felt so good that I wanted to go back the next day! But, I need to pace myself and not start back up too quickly so I am going today! I'll be sure to document each run and all the stats! With any luck I'll be ready for the race at the end of this month, but I'll honestly be ok if I'm not. The race costs $30 to run, and I want to do it, but it's money that could do better going somewhere else, and I'm having a hard time justifying spending it on me.

Someone please tell me I'm worth it?

How did you do this past week?

Weight: 204.8
Previous: 204.8

TIPS: Weight yourself at the same time every time (morning is best) in the same type of clothing (or nude) on the same scale to get the best results.

REACTION: I swore off the scale again this week, but next week it's on!

BMI: 33.9
Previous: 33.9

TIPS: Use this website to compute your BMI

REACTION: Same as above.

[If you'd like to participate]

Blog about your weight loss goal, frustrations, struggles, accomplisments, weigh-ins, whatever you feel! Then come back here and link up in the collection at the bottom of this post. And while you're here grab the WW Wednesday button to use on YOUR blog!

[If you want to add the blog hop in your post]

If you want to participate in the hop, just click here and copy and paste the link into the HTML of your post! That's it! Simple!

[A litte something extra]

To make things a little more fun, each week I will choose a random linker to put up as a STELLAR WAIST WATCHER OF THE WEEK. You will get a button with the link back to your blog and it will stay up for the whole week! How cool is that?

I plugged in last weeks link ups into random.org. This weeks winner is: Jen @ A Drop in the Bucket! Congrats Jen! I hope to see more of you around here! =) Thanks for linking up!

[Encourage each other]

Check out the other linkers and leave them a comment with some kind words! We are all going to need a kick in the pants or a hand to help us up throughout this process! It will also keep us all accountable if we know our bloggy friends are watching!

Don't forget to grab the button on my sidebar and show the blogworld that you're a waist watcher!

The link-up for this week doesn't seem to be working?? Or am I just not seeing something? :-) that could definitely be it!

Great start. I've tried c25k -- just remember you can repeat weeks. Week 4 was hard for me. I've been thinking of starting again.

You won't see a WWW post from me this week. I did try to get back out this past week with Josh and Ellie for Week 1, Day 1 of the C25K, but it didn't go well at all. I got half way and thought I was going to have an asthma attack. I think it's majorly in part to not being back to 100% health wise. I was really upset and felt like a failure, but as soon as my body tells me I'm ready I'll be back out there!

You are totally worth it!

I don't know that I'm going to do this oen this month because like I said I haven't been able to train for it like I had wanted to, but that in May..I'm going to kill it. =)

We can do it girly! So happy you got signed up at the gym too, yay!
