Welcome back to Day 24 of my Get to Know me Series! Only 6 more days left! I am hoping that since I'm trying to get my blog "out" into the world, that this will help you get an idea of who I am. On with the challenges! You can find a list of them here.
Day 24: Picture of your day.
Oh man. Today would have been the perfect day to actually take a picture because I was so busy! But the only one I have is this:

3. PHENOMINAL COSMIC POWERS!!! Ittybittylivingspace.
4. You don't even KNOW! (If you can tell where that comes from you're my new best friend!)
5. Jeff DUN HAM DOT COM! (LOVE Peanut - once you go purple you never go back!)
See you tomorrow for Day 25!

New Years Resolution and a Linky Party!
So, back when I posted Day 13 of my Get to Know me Series, I vaguely mentioned that I would talk more about my body issues later. Well, my friends the time has come! Here is my New Years Resolution:
To get to 180 pounds by the first day of Summer, and 160 pounds by the first day of Winter 2012! This is also part of my 52 in 52 goals.
I have a few other resolutions as well, but this is a BIG ONE.
How am I going to do that, you ask? Easy! I'm going to blog about it every week! And I need YOU, my friends, to help keep me accountable and to even join in if you want!
So, starting the first Wednesday in January I want you to post a "weigh in" on your blog and link to my blog hop/linky party! Or if you don't have a blog, leave a comment on my post that day with your starting weight and your goal! Then we will start with weekly "weigh ins" and share advice and hop over to all the other blogs and offer support and encouragement! WE CAN DO THIS! It's time we lose the laziness, cut the crap and GET FIT!
If you need help deciding where you need to be in terms of weight, take a look at this:
I am a 5'5" big framed girl, so I think that 160 is a great goal! Granted once I get there, 4 more pounds shouldn't be THAT hard to lose, but let's start there!
Are you all ready??? Who's going to be linking up with me in 2012?? What should we call this fun little linky party? Shoot any other ideas you have my way too! I want it to be fun for all of us!

Get to Know me Series: Day 23
Welcome back to Day 23 of my Get to Know me Series! Only 7 more days left! I am hoping that since I'm trying to get my blog "out" into the world, that this will help you get an idea of who I am. On with the challenges! You can find a list of them here.
Day 23: Something you wish you could change.
I'm so sorry for the overlap here. I don't want to change anything about my life. It all happened for a purpose and brought me to where I am today, and that is a very good place.
Pinterest Day 23: Something that you miss.
COLORGUARD. I miss it every day. I miss throwing a flag in the air and learning to spin a rifle and a sabre. I miss the music and the marching and the community it builds around you. I miss my friends that did it with me. I have very fond memories.

Get to Know me Series: Day 22
Welcome back to Day 22 of my Get to Know me Series! Only 8 more days left! I am hoping that since I'm trying to get my blog "out" into the world, that this will help you get an idea of who I am. On with the challenges! You can find a list of them here.
Day 22: Your favorite book.
I don't have one. I am a bookworm and I love to read. I love anything by Fern Michaels, Nora Roberts, the Harry Potter Series, His Dark Materials by Phillip Pullman (The Golden Compass trilogy) the Twilight Series, and I could go on and on. I just borrowed a few Stephen King novels to see if I like him, but mostly I like adventure and romance novels.
Pinterest Day 22: Your academics.
So far I have an associate's degree in Medical Transcription. I have been toying with the idea in my head of going to nursing school. I have also been thinking about Pharmacy Technician Certifications. I just don't know. All I know is that I can't serve for the rest of my life, and that if I go back to school at least I can get my student loans deferred for a little while.
See you tomorrow for Day 23! I honestly don't know what I'm going to do when this series is over! What will I write about??

Christmas Adventures (Part Two of my Recap)
We had such fun yesterday with my parents! My mom got Natalie two outfits, and while we were there we caught her doing this:
When we got to my Dad's house there was a fire crackling in the fireplace and these greeted us:
I can't wait to watch her play with that crab mirror thing!
We had a great time, and it was really good to hang out with everyone for a while and enjoy the holidays even though Christmas has been over for almost a week.
And since I'm feeling a little nostalgic, I wanted to see if I could find pictures of Hubby and me from each Christmas we were together, I found all but two, in 2005 and 2006. We didn't have a decent camera at the time. I'm sure some family SOMEWHERE has pictures, but I doubt we will ever see them.

2011 In Review
Lots of wonderful things happened this year, and I really couldn't be happier that everything worked out the way it did!
January: We had our first ultrasound. It was amazing to hear our little baby's heartbeat for the very first time!
February: I was diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes and worked on maintaining a healthy diet
March: I lost my little kitten, Indy. I still miss her terribly. Also, my friend Amber celebrated her birthday with me, and we got massages! I also cut my hair short and we went to the zoo!
April: We found out our little munchkin was a girl!
May: We celebrated my FIRST mother's day!
June: We celebrated Hubby's FIRST father's day! And we brought home a new kitten and named her Sammie.
July: We went on our "babymoon" to see the Nationals play the Cubs, I went into pre-term labor, and our baby girl was born! We also had our baby showers and waited for Natalie to be released from the NICU.
August: On the first, we took Natalie home! Natalie turned one month old and I started to follow My Happy House and link up to her Weekend Planning Posts and started to gain followers and make some bloggy friends!
September: Natalie met her great-grandmother for the first time and attended her first annual Repp Family Picnic! I decorated for fall and started thinking about Halloween costumes! We went to see some Nascar as well.
October: We celebrated Daddy's birthday! We went to the aquarium, and we had a blast! We dressed Natalie up as a monkey and celebrated Halloween!
November: We celebrated Momma's birthday! We also gave away our kitty, Holly. We celebrated Natalie's first Thanksgiving.
December: We decorated for Christmas, went to see Santa, my nephew turned THREE, and celebrated Natalie's first Christmas! I started my Get to Know me Series, which is almost over! I also moved over my blog to it's permanent home!
I can't wait to see what's in store for next year!

Get to Know me Series: Day 21
Welcome back to Day 21 of my Get to Know me Series! Only 9 more days left! I am hoping that since I'm trying to get my blog "out" into the world, that this will help you get an idea of who I am. On with the challenges! You can find a list of them here.
Day 21: Something you wish you were better at.
Hmm, there's a list:
1. Singing
2. Dancing
3. Crafting
4. Sewing (though this would definately improve if I had a sewing machine)
5. Scrapbooking
6. Drawing
7. Baking
8. Cooking
9. Photography
10. Exercising
I think I'll stop there.....because now I feel like a complete loser lol
Pinterest Day 21: How you hope your future will be like.
Wonderful. I hope someday I can retire - from whatever my career ends up being. I hope someday to have three beautiful kids, two girls and a boy. I hope that they have beautiful kids. I hope to have my dream home, and fill it with family and love on the holidays (and decorate it top to bottom too!) I hope to have a happy life with my hubby, and to always be together. I hope to know my great-grandchildren. I hope to one day to live debt-free. I hope to be able to support my children and help when needed. I hope for a good, happy, love-filled life. And my dream house...I already said that didn't I?

Christmas Recap Part One
Wow. I can't believe Christmas has already come and gone. It feels like just about a month ago I was telling Hubby we were pregnant (Christmas Day 2010) and now we have an adorable 5 month old who was the center of attention all day!
Our festivities a few days before Christmas. We went up to Hubby's best friends house last Sunday for a bit of Christmas and to watch the football game. Natalie got a glow-worm, Daddy got a light up Jets logo for the car, and Momma got some new fragrance spray from Bath and Body Works called Paris Amour. Smells SO GOOD. We don't have any pictures from there, but it was alot of fun, and we really appreciated that they made the beginning of our Christmas special for Natalie!
Then on to the day before Christmas Eve. Since Natalie was awake and in a good mood, we decided to go ahead and open the presents we had from home when I got off work that night!
Natalie got another glow-worm from some customers at work, (which we took back to get her bedset) a squealing monkey from a host from work, and a red and green teddy bear. Mommy got the matching ottoman to her rocker, so that she can be more comfy while feeding the little booger! I was so excited.
Christmas Eve I had to work until 9pm. Boo. So, Hubby took Natalie up to Mawmaw's house (Hubby's mom) and had Christmas Eve dinner. Natalie had a blast! She got clothes, a little pair of boots, a stacker toy, a stuffed Rudolph, socks, hats, books and movies, and Scout - a programmable doggie. Here are some pictures from the evening.
Christmas morning we slept in a little, and then headed up to Hubby's grandmothers, or Nana's, house. EVERYONE was there! Some of Hubby's family lives about three hours away, and we were very happy that they all managed to make the trip this year! Natalie was the center of attention, as always! She received a babydoll, a motion learning toy, her pack-n-play, and two new sleepers. We had tons of food and Natalie eventally zonked out and we headed home.
Monday, we headed over to Hubby's Dad's house about 30 minutes away to spend some time with him. He gave Natalie the cutest little bear that plays peekaboo with her! It's soooo cute! She also got a few other stuffed animals and a box of baby food from him.
Today we are headed over to my mom's house for a bit, and then will be heading up to my dad's house for dinner/presents. Look for Part 2 to come soon, and a little trip down memory lane!
If you made it through all those pictures I commend you! I probably should have broken it up into a few posts. More pictures tonight!

Get to Know me Series: Day 20
Welcome back to Day 20 of my Get to Know me Series! Only 10 more days left! I am hoping that since I'm trying to get my blog "out" into the world, that this will help you get an idea of who I am. On with the challenges! You can find a list of them here.
Day 20: Something you wish you could forget.
Hmm. I really don't think there is anything from my life that I wish I could forget. Everything that has happened has happened for a reason and has taught me a lesson in some form or another.
Except maybe Justin Bieber. I can forget him. And Lady Gaga, and maybe Amy Winehouse too. Yeah.
Pinterest Day 20: Your fears.
1. Dying - this is the big/main one. I didn't have a really strong faith, and still really don't. I want to believe that we go to heaven and see all our loved ones again, but in reality - no one knows. And I am afraid of the unknown. I'm also just afraid of not being HERE anymore. I want to stay.
2. Being alone
3. Getting robbed/kidnapped/etc. etc.
Think that's about it! Kinda boring today, see you tomorrow and look for a Christmas Recap Part Uno later tonight or tomorrow morning!

Get to Know me Series: Day 19
Welcome back to Day 19 of my Get to Know me Series! We are more than halfway through now! I am hoping that since I'm trying to get my blog "out" into the world, that this will help you get an idea of who I am. On with the challenges!
Day 19: Somewhere you'd love to travel.
Since I already covered Paris, and France I will choose another place that I really want to go.
Austrailia and New Zealand.
I've wanted to go to New Zealand ever since I did a report on it in Elementary School. I'm in love with these two countries. I want to go and learn to surf, and I want to see a Kiwi in person. (not the fruit, the bird) And I want to pet a Koala and see wild Kangaroos. Someday I will go.
Pinterest Day 19: Five items you lust after.
1. A kitchenaid mixer. I love the one the Pioneer Woman keeps giving away. God, I wish I could win one of these babies!
2. A good set of pots and pans. Either Paula Deen (left) or Rachel Ray (right)
3. A mommy necklace. I like this one from Simple Starfish. This exact necklace with Hubby, Natalie and my name on it (the one in the picture even has the right birthstones already!)
4. This purse is super hard to track down. I'm hoping I can find it before it's too late. I might have to start looking on ebay.
5. A new car. Preferrably this one - a Hyaundi Santa Fe.
